Assoc. Prof. Giuseppe Carbone

Biography: Graduated with honors in Mechanical Engineering in 2000 at the University of Cassino, he received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in 2004. He carried out numerous research and teaching periods abroad. He was invited visiting professor at Waseda University (Japan), the Universidad Carlos III of Madrid (Spain), the Beijing Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (China), Sheffield Hallam University (England), the University of Poiters (France). From 2019 he is Associate Professor in the DSS Ing-Ind / 13 and carries out research in many areas of Applied Mechanics to Machines, with particular attention to robotics and mechatronics. He partecipated /coordinated more than 20 international research projects including the AGEWELL project co-financed on H2020 European funds on innovative robotic systems for post-stroke rehabilitation. He is Associate Editor of numerous magazines including the journal Robotica (Cambridge University Press).
